Gain Experience Before You Graduate
Most students graduate with a qualification. The best candidates graduate with a Qualification and Experience. Employers often ask for experience even in entry-level roles, which is why Jobkit helps you start acquiring it before you graduate through field-of-study-specific experience building opportunities, designed to build your CV early.

Common Questions
Who is eligible to join Jobkit?
Jobkit welcomes students from public and private tertiary institutions across South Africa. Whether you are in your first year, second year, final year, or any stage in between, Jobkit is designed to help you start building practical experience before graduating. The programme is primarily designed for tertiary students who want to build their CV before finishing their studies.
How long does the program last?
The standard Jobkit experience lasts 6 months. Participants who wish to continue building experience may request an extension at the end of their programme. Extensions are available in additional 6-month intervals, with participants able to remain in the programme all the way up until graduation if they desire to do so, while continuing to build their experience and CV.
Are there any costs involved?
Jobkit is completely free for the first 30 days.
This allows participants to experience the programme and determine whether it is the right fit for them before making any commitment of any kind. After the 30-day period, participants may continue through either:
• A once-off payment of R1,300 covering the full 6-month programme; OR
• Three monthly payments of R500 each (R1,500 total) for the full 6-month programme.
Participants only continue after the 30-day free period once approval has been received from their parent, guardian, or sponsor.
What industries do you cover?
Jobkit supports a wide range of experience pathways including Information Technology, Computer Science, Commerce, Finance, Business and Management, Marketing, Engineering, Arts and Creative Fields, Science and Mathematics, Education, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Biosciences.
